RECRUITING: Zirbel says it's too close to call

Kentucky OL Cory Zirbel talks about his top three and in-home visit with OU Coach Kevin Wilson.

Cory Zirbel, OL, 6-7, 292, 5.3, MURRAY, KENTUCKY:

JH: How is basketball season going?

CZ: "It is alright. I haven't played in a game ye, because I have been taking all of these visits. Our next game is Tuesday and I think I will get to play then."

JH: What coaches have been in your house this week?

CZ: "I have had Coach Herman form Michigan, Coach Moeller from Michigan, Coach Kehoe from Miami, Coach Wilson from Oklahoma, and in one day I had Coach Phillips, Coach Brooks and Coach Dunn from Kentucky. I am having a great time talking to all the coaches. It is pretty cool."

JH: You had Coach Wilson in your home this week. How did that go?

CZ: "It sent real well. He came in Wednesday morning and stayed until early afternoon. My dad came over to the school and talk to him a long time. He then talked to my coach and principal at school. He talked to just about everybody at school, and that was pretty cool."

JH: Are you still going to take your visit to Michigan this weekend?

CZ: "Yes, I go to Michigan this weekend."

JH: Did you really say that Norman was boring?

CZ: "No, I didn't say that. I guess some guy took it the wrong way when I said that I had a blast in Miami and it was the most fun place I have been to. I didn't even say anything about Norman or Ann Arbor, who they indicted that I said negative things about as well."

JH: As you get ready to go to Michigan is your recruiting situation still the same?

CZ: "Yes, it is still Oklahoma, Michigan and Miami. I still say it is too close to call. I don't have a leader. I will know a lot more after the visit to Michigan this weekend. I am going to sit down and evaluate everything after that visit."
