Reggie Smith, S, 6-0, 192, 4.5, EDMOND (SANTE FE HS), OKLAHOMA:
JH: How did you like your visit to Nebraska?
RS: "It went pretty well. I got to see things that I didn't get a chance to see before at their camp. I got to see more of the campus and got to hang around the coaches more."
JH: You went to Nebraska's camp, so what did you learn about Nebraska that you didn't know before?
RS: "I got to meet more of their academic people, and I was impressed with how many academic All-Americans that they had. I was impressed with how they go about their academic work and how they take care of their athletes."
JH: What did you learn about the football team that maybe you didn't know before?
RS: "Right now they have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, and that is impressive. And they have quite a few players coming back from last year's team. I really think they are a program that is improving, and I think I could go in there and help them right away."
JH: Now that you have visited Nebraska, how does recruiting stack up for you?
RS: "Everything is pretty much the same right now. I am just trying to analyize everything and trying to take everything in. I am trying to keep an open mind about everything before I make my decision."
JH: You have told me several times that you are not going to take an official visit to OU, but now you have decided to come in this weekend. Why did you change your mind?
RS: "I just felt it was something that I needed to do. I never go down there and spend a lot of time around the program, and this will give me an opportunity to spend some time around the players and coaches. It will give me an opportunity to really experience what the program is all about."
JH: Do you have a leader at this point?
RS: "I am still considering Texas A&M, USC, OU and Nebraska. Penn State is also in it as well.
