RECRUITING: McCullough down to three

But where do the Sooners currently stand for this talented running back from Garland, Texas

JH: What position do you want to play in college?

EM: I want to play running back. I can also catch the ball out of the backfield. I had a couple of catches this year, but we didn't throw the ball much to our running backs.

JH: How is recruiting going with you at this time?

EM: I have it narrowed it down to my top three and they are Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma.

JH: Can you tell us a little more about your to top three?

EM: I have already been to Texas A&M, then I go to Texas this weekend and then to Oklahoma the next.

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma at this point?

EM: I am real high on them. I really like their coaching staff and how their players like to go out and compete for championships and win.

JH: What are your thoughts on Texas A&M?

EM: I like all the coaches and I have gotten to know them very well.

JH: What about Texas?

EM: Pretty much the same keys.

JH: Which offense suits you the best?

EM: I would say Texas A&M, because they will give the ball to the running back. They will feature a tailback or one running back and they will give the ball to him and that is what I am looking for.

JH: How about an offense that gives the ball to the tailback 15 times a game and throws the ball to him another eight times, is that the same thing?

EM: That is good and I like that kind of offense as well. I just want to make sure that I am in an offense where I get the ball.

JH: How would you describe Edorian's style of running?

DF: He is the perfect combination of speed and power. He is a strong young man, who is very committed to the weight program. I guess the best way to describe the speed factor is that one of the coaches we played this year told his team that they were not gong to believe how fast Edorian was. Sure enough they didn't and he ran up 320-something yards.

Today Edorian met with OU's coaches and the meeting went very well. However, Edorian still says he is going to take his visit to Texas this weekend and then come to OU on the 25th. Edorian says he is split between Texas A&M and OU with Texas a little behind at the moment.

I really don't get the impression that Texas is in the picture with McCullough, but at UT recruiting weekends seems to work wonders with some recruits.
