RECRUITING: OU moving up California WRs list?

Long Beach WR DeSean Jackson's loved his trip to Norman, but do the Sooners have a legit shot?

DeSean Jackson, WR, 5-11, 175, 4.4, LONG BEACH POLY, CALIFORNIA:

JH: What did you think of your visit to OU this weekend?

DJ: "I had a great time. I learned some things about OU that I didn't know — like they are losing a lot of receivers. I didn't know that, and that is important for me to be able to come in and have the opportunity to play early."

JH: What did you learn about OU that you didn't know before?

DJ: "I really like their offense. They were showing me how many times they are in three wide receivers and that is 60 percent of the time. That is a lot of times they are going to wide receivers. They spread the offense out and they use the wide receivers a lot."

JH: What did you think of the football program itself?

DJ: "It is a real nice place to play football and go to school. I like what they have going for themselves. They have a nice stadium and their locker room is huge. They have a nice weight room and their indoor facility is nice."

JH: Now that you have visited OU how is recruiting going?

DJ: "It is going at a nice pace. I am where I want to be at. Right now after coming back from Oklahoma, they are now in my top schools. Right now it is Cal, USC, LSU and Oklahoma."

JH: Now that you have visited OU do the Sooners have a legitimate chance to sign you?

DJ: "Yes, they have a legitimate chance."

JH: Do you have a favorite at this time?

DJ: "No, not really. Each one of those schools that I just named has a good chance to sign me right now. I just have to put myself in a position where it is the best situation for me and where my talents can fit in the most."
