RECRUITING: Visit what Florida LB expected

Melbourne, Fla. linebacker Neefy Moffett update.

Neefy Moffett, LB, 6-1, 220, 4.6, MELBOURNE (PALM BAY HS), FLORIDA:

JH: What did you think about your visit to OU?

NM: "I liked it. It was pretty good."

JH: Can you give me some particulars of what you liked on the visit?

NM: "It was pretty much as I expected it to be. I expected the visit to be good this weekend, and that is what it was. They have the No. 1 team in the country, so you know a lot of things are going to be good, and they were."

JH: What impressed you the most about your visit to OU?

NM: "The team unity is exceptional. The players and coaches are together as a unit, and they all get along great."

JH: Did you have much of a chance to watch the linebackers workout and see how you might fit in if you went there?

NM: "They are a pretty good linebacker unit. I think I could fit in there. They are fast and they seem to have fun at the same time."

JH: How is recruiting shaping up with you at the moment?

NM: "This was my second visit. I visited USC earlier. I am just relaxing and trying to go into all my visits with a clear mind."

JH: Do you have a favorite?

NM: "Miami is my favorite. I go there on the 21st of January. It is not a lock that I am going to go there. I am trying to see what it is like on my other visits."

JH: You have visited both OU and USC and they are playing for the National Championship on January 4th. What are your impressions of the two programs?

NM: "They are two difference programs. They both run NFL type programs. I just got back from Oklahoma, so I haven't had a great chance to evaluate both programs. Both run NFL type programs and they are both undefeated."

JH: What did you think of the Sooners' depth situation at linebacker?

NM: "That is a great situation, especially at a school like Oklahoma. If I sign with Oklahoma and I am going to come to campus and be on the second team already."

JH: When and where is your next visit?

NM: "I go to Florida State on January 7th."
