SAN ANTONIOTom Lemming, organizer of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, talks about Malcolm Kelly's supposed invitation to the game, his thoughts on Reggie Smith and where Oklahoma's current recruiting class ranks nationally during an exclusive OUInsider.com interview.

OUInsider.com: Do you know if Malcolm Kelly was ever invited to replace Derrick Williams in this week's U.S. Army All-American Bowl?

Lemming: "To my knowledge, no. He wasn't one of the kids I picked…I think there is a lot of misinformation out there by other Web sites not with Scout about who got invited to the game. Malcolm wouldn't replace Derrick anyway. Derrick was supposed to be on the East (team) and the players from Texas are on the West (team)."

OUInsider.com: What are your thoughts on Reggie Smith?

Lemming: "He's a great player. I don't even know what he's going to play or where he's going, but he'd be a great pickup (for Oklahoma)."

OUInsider.com: What about Eric Huggins?

Lemming: "He's doing good this week, but not as good I thought he would be doing. I think people expected more out of him. He's kind of thin and I think he's just in awe of all the great talent. He's got talent himself, but I think he's just go to build up his confidence. He's on a team with Patrick Turner and Fred Rouse and guys like that, but he's got big-time ability. When I went through South Carolina last March, I saw him and Rendrick Taylor and I liked him as a more natural, fluid guy than Rendrick, which is why I went with Eric instead of Rendrick."

OUInsider.com: Is Oklahoma going to pick up any commitments this weekend?

Lemming: "They're going to get Ryan Reynolds, but they'll lose Roy Miller."

OUInsider.com: How do the Oklahoma coaches fare recruiting-wise?

Lemming: "They've got great recruiters. Kevin Wilson is the most underrated recruiter in the country. Stoops himself is great. They're putting together another great class this year."

OUInsider.com: Where does Oklahoma's current recruiting class rank nationally?

Lemming: "Right now, Nebraska is #1, but they've got to start getting more players to stay #1. USC is coming on strong. Tennessee is going to have a great year. I would say Nebraska, Tennessee and USC are right there right now. They're the big three, the way they're getting guys and the guys who are coming. After that, it's going to be Oklahoma and couple of other schools right behind them. They're going to be right there."
