RECRUITING: One more visit for DeMarcus Granger?

Dallas, Texas five-star defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger talks about the possibility he'll take one more visit before his decision and his interest in Oklahoma.

DeMarcus Granger, DT, 6-2, 320, 5.2, DALLAS (KIMBALL HS), TEXAS:

JH: How did you enjoy playing in the Scout Network Army All-Star game?

DG: "I had a great time at the game. It was fun meeting and playing with a lot of great guys. The game was run very well and we had some great workouts. The practices were very physical and it was great to play some football again against some great competition. We had a lot of one-on-one drills and that was a great learning experience for me."

JH: After that game many people said you were the best defensive tackle in the game. How do you feel about that?

DG: "I am blessed to be thought of that way, but there were a lot of great players in the game. I thought Roy (Miller) had a great game. I am trying to stay level-headed about it because it doesn't mean anything. It is how I play on the field each and every game that really matters."

JH: What is the latest in recruiting?

DG: "I am working on a decision between Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arizona State and maybe Florida. I am scheduled to visit Tennessee on the 28th, but I am still not sure I am going to take that visit. We will see."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma at this time?

DG: "I have always liked Oklahoma, nothing has changed. Oklahoma has a great program and a great defensive tackle coach (Jackie Shipp). It is close to home and they are winning a lot of games. I also think the opportunity to play is there."

JH: Do you have a leader?

DG: "Hey, you know I can't, or I should say, won't give you no leader. I am getting closer to making my decision."

JH: You know it is my job to ask?

DG: "Yes, I do (laughing)."

JH: Is it safe to say that OU will be one of the final schools that you are considering?

DG: "Yes, definitely you can say that."
