Visit everything Huggins expected it to be

Conway, S.C. wide receiver Eric Huggins talks about his official visit to Norman last weekend, hanging out with Adrian Peterson and meeting up again with former Conway teammate and Sooner commit Allen Patrick.

Eric Huggins, WR, 6-3, 190, 4.5, CONWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA:

JH: How did you like your recent visit to OU?

EH: "It was everything that I expected it to be. I just went out and tried to get to know the players. I had a great time."

JH: You had a chance to see your homeboy Allen Patrick again. Did you guys catch up on old times?

EH: "Yeah, man. We talked and talked and talked. We got closer during that weekend than we were when he lived in Conway. We talked about a lot of things and talked about everything. We talked a bunch about what we need to do when we come to Oklahoma. We talked about how we need to get busy when we get to Oklahoma."

JH: You said you wanted to meet some players, so who did you end up meeting?

EH: "My host was AD and he was cool. He was a great host and a great guy to hang around. Everybody told me he was going to be real shy, but that wasn't the case. He was great to talk to and he talked about everything from football to classes to things to do around Norman. I got to talk to Travis Wilson some, and he is a great guy. And I met Will Peoples."

JH: Did you have any time to study the offense while you were at OU?

EH: "I didn't get a chance to watch as much film as I wanted because I had to go to the airport early because my plan was iced in at Atlanta. I had to go to the airport and wait about three hours to get a plane out of Oklahoma City, so I didn't get a chance to watch film at all."

JH: You have been committed to OU for a long time, so was it a great feeling to finally take your official visit to OU?

EH: "Yes, it was a great feeling to finally be at Oklahoma. The first time I went (summer) to Oklahoma I didn't get to see everything, but this time I saw everything, including Oklahoma City. AD just took me everywhere and it was cool."
