Jackson, Sooners get NCAA bid

It's official. The Oklahoma women's basketball team will be dancing next week.

Sherri Coale's Sooners were thought to be on the bubble heading into Selection Sunday, but that all changed when it was announced on ESPN that OU was in.

The Sooners (17-12), who will make their sixth straight NCAA Tournament appearance under Coale, are seeded eighth in the Mideast Region and will take on ninth-seeded Arizona (19-11) in a first round matchup next Sunday in Knoxville, Tenn.
