RECRUITING: Gresham takes in OU's spring game

Ardmore TE/WR Jermaine Greshman talks about OU's spring game and his impressive list of favorites.

Jermaine Gresham, WR, 6-6, 226, 4.7, ARDMORE, OK:

JH: What did you think about your trip to Norman to watch the spring game?

JG: "It was alright. It was the first time I have been to a scrimmage like that. I have been to OU before. I went to the OU/Nebraska football game. I brought some people with me and I mostly hung around with them, but the coaches came up to me and said hi. They were very nice and generous."

JH: Who else have you visited this spring?

JG: "I haven't been to any other place because it is hard to travel for me. It seems all the schools are a long way away from me."

JH: What did you think of the OU offense and how they use their wide receivers?

JG: "Watching that scrimmage gave me something to think about. I like their style of play on offense and I noticed that OU likes to play big receivers. Quentin Chaney is a big receiver like I am. OU always seems to have receivers that have good size."

JH: How do you feel you would fit into the OU offense?

JG: "I am really undecided on what position I am going to play when I get into college. I am really just trying to soak in the atmosphere more than the football part of it."

JH: Are more people recruiting you to play wide receiver or tight end?

JG: "I am not sure where I will fit in an offense. Most people are recruiting me as a wide receiver, but I know with my size that some will want me to play TE. I will play wherever I can help the team, but I want to play in an offense that will allow me to be a threat."

JH: What are you thoughts on recruiting at this time?

JG: "Right now it is wide open because I haven't sat down to think about it. I just want to concentrate on school for the next 30 days and make sure I take care of my business there."

JH: Who has offered you at this time?

JG: "I have offers from OU, Miami, Texas, USC, OSU and many others. I am really open right now. This summer I will start to narrow my list down some, but right now it is school and more school."
