James Hale has learned late Saturday evening that junior college guard Chris Walker has committed to Oklahoma during his visit this weekend in Norman.
Walker, a 6-foot-3 point guard from San Joaquin Delta Junior College in Stockton, Calif., will offiically sign with the Sooners next week.
Walker, who was the Northern California Junior College Player of the Year, chose the Sooners over Arizona State and UTEP.
Last season at Delta, Walker led the Mustangs to a 30-2 record and to the semi-finals of the California Junior College State Championships.
In his four games in the state playoffs, Walker, who averaged 11 points and 11 assists during the regular season, led the team in scoring averaging 17.5 points per game.
See the link below for James Hale's interview earlier this week with Delta coach Brian Katz on his star player.
