Obi Muonelo, arguably the top rising senior in Oklahoma, talks with OUInsider.com about his favorites and interest in the Sooners. The 6-foot-4 guard, who was named the Oklahoma Player of the Year by the Daily Oklahoman, helped lead Edmond Sante Fe to the 6A state title last season.

JH: Who is involved in your recruiting at the moment?

OM: "Just about everybody is in the picture right now. OU and OSU are on me real hard. Also, I am still considering North Carolina, Duke, Florida, UConn, Iowa State and Kansas."

JH: Out of those schools that you are interested in, who has actually offered you?

OM: "Some of them haven't offered me, but they are recruiting me. Out of the schools that have offered me, I am looking at OU and OSU. But again, the others are recruiting me and I think offers will come soon.

JH: Are you close to making a decision? Have you narrowed your choice down to OU and OSU?v
OM: "It is more wide open than that. My decision is still wide open at this point."

JH: What are your thoughts on OU?

OM: " They are cool. I like them a lot. They should be real good next year. They have a good coaching staff and a good program. I like them a lot."

JH: What are your thoughts on OSU?

OM: "It is about the same. They have a great coaching staff, great crowds at Gallagher-Iba and they have a good atmosphere for basketball."

JH: Are certain programs trying to push you for a decision?

OM: "Everybody is being pretty cool about it. I still have all my visits left. I am still trying to set a date for my visits, but I am not sure where I am going to visit. I go up to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State on a regular basis. I will definitely take visits to both schools."

JH: I get asked all the time who is playing on your Athletes First AAU team? Can you give us the roster or some of the guys?

OM: "You have me and Keith Clark on it. Ekpe Udoh, Drew Haymaker, and Andy Shaw are all on it from my high school team. Then you have Derrick White of Midwest City, Javier Alexander from Midwest City, Justin Fuclear from Tulsa Booker T. Washington, Eric Johnson from OCS and Blake Griffin from OCS.
