RECRUITING: Ohio OL taking a summer trip to OU?

Cincinnati, Ohio offensive lineman Aaron Brown update.

Aaron Brown is a fantastic athlete who is totally dominant along the offensive line. Blessed with great strength and speed, Brown is almost a man among boys in the high school ranks.

Brown played the last two yeas at Wintonwoods High School as an offensive tackle. This year at Princeton, he will play offensive tackle and defensive end.

Brown is also involved with his father George in a summer sports camp called Brown's Youth Sport Camp.

"My father has had it since 2001, but last year he didn't do it," said Brown. "He started it back up this year and that is where I am right now. It is an 11-week camp and we play all kinds of sports. For two weeks, we have football, two weeks basketball, and then two weeks we will have track and field. I work out at our high school before I come here. My workouts are going pretty good."

Brown, who benches 285 pounds and squats 480, has played basketball in the past but concentrated on lifting weight this past winter. He has made it out to Louisville for their spring game and took unofficial visits to Florida and Florida State.

He has been offered by close to 50 schools at this point and he is keeping the recruiting process wide open.

"We are breaking everything down now, so I am not just looking at one or two schools at this point," said Brown. "We need to find out who has my major (sports medicine or education) and we need to find out what schools are doing in the offensive line."

Does he have an interest in OU?

"Oklahoma is one of the schools that I am interested in. I hope to get out there this summer."

Brown also says that his is considering Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Louisville, Ohio State, Purdue and Tennessee among a number of schools at this point.

Brown has qualified.
