RECRUITING: California CB likes Oklahoma

Sylmar, Calif. cornerback C.J. Gable update.

JH: Have you gone to any camps this summer?

CJ: "I went to an Elite Prospect camp in California, and for the rest of the time I have just been working out on my own."

JH: Did you take any unofficial visits this spring?

CJ: "I didn't get a chance to visit in the spring, but maybe in the summer. I am not sure about that (taking summer visits).I still have some things that I have to work out."

JH: How many schools have offered you at this point?

CJ: "I have been offered by 16 schools."

JH: Do you have a favorite or a list of favorites at this time?

CJ: "No, I really don't favor anybody. I haven't really gotten into recruiting yet because I have been focusing on my school. We just got out for summer recently."

JH: What do you think about Oklahoma?

CJ: "I like Oklahoma a lot. They have a great school and they have sent me all their academic stuff. I don't know how they fit into the mix because I haven't really thought about any schools right now."

JH: Is staying in California, or close to home, a key factor for you?

CJ: "Staying close to home really isn't that big deal for me. If I want to leave then I will have no problem doing that."

JH: What schools have offered you?

CJ: "Most of the Pac-10, Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah, Houston, LSU, Nebraska, Mississippi, Arizona State and Arizona. At least, that is who I can remember."
