Terrance Anderson, CB, 5-10, 161, 4.48, HOUSTON (ALDINE HS), TEXAS:
JH: What has been going on with you lately?
TA: "I have been getting more offers and I have been to some summer camps. There really hasn't been much going on. I have picked up offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Colorado and San Diego State. I went to a camp in Pearland, Texas put on by Oklahoma State. I also went to one in Katy, Texas by UTEP."
JH: Have you taken any unofficial visits?
TA: "I took a couple of unofficial visits to Texas A&M."
JH: Are you working out on your own or do you workout with the team?
TA: "I am working out with the team. We work out in the weight room every day and we are working hard. We play in a seven-on-seven league in our district and that is going very well. I am playing cornerback and a little bit at free safety. I am even sneaking in there at cornerback some times and wide receiver."
JH: Do you have a leader in recruiting?
TA: "There are two schools that I like very much. I like Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Those two schools are showing the most interest in me."
JH: What is it that you like about Oklahoma and Oklahoma State?
TA: "Oklahoma is Oklahoma. They have been one of the top programs in the nation for a while now. Any athlete that gets an offer from Oklahoma is one of the best athletes in the nation, and I am very proud that they offered me. They are winning and they play great defense. As far as Oklahoma State goes, I actually got to meet the coaches and get to know them a little bit. I got a chance to meet Coach (Mike) Gundy at our school and he is a great guy."
JH: Are most schools recruiting you as a cornerback?
TA: "Most schools talk to me as an athlete because they tell me that I can play a number of positions. Oklahoma is recruiting me as an athlete now, and if I had my choice I would like to have the ball in my hands some kind of way. Oklahoma State is recruiting me as an athlete. I see myself mostly as a kick and punt returner, and then I see myself as a cornerback. I hope to be able to do both things."
JH: You are playing quarterback in high school, so do you get much of a chance to return punts and kicks in high school?
TA: "I don't get much of a chance to return kick and punts now because I am playing quarterback."
JH: Do you plan to take any other unofficial visits this summer?
TA: "I would like to drive up to the state of Oklahoma, because my two top schools are there. I would also like to see LSU. They haven't offered me, but they are talking about it."
