RECRUITING: Catching up with Jermaine Gresham

Ardmore, Okla. TE/WR Jermain Gresham talks about his summer plans and interest in Oklahoma.

Jermaine Gresham, 6-6, 230, 4.7, WR, ARDMORE, OKLHOMA:

JH: I watched you play for Ardmore recently at the OU Summer Basketball Camp. Are you just being recruited in football or do you have some basketball interest as well?

JG: "I play both sports, but I get more recognition in football than I do in basketball. I am a college prospect in football, I don't know if I am in basketball."

JH: How is your summer going?

JG: "Pretty good. I am just concentrating on conditioning right now and just trying to get better overall. I am going to be a much better player next year than I was last year."

JH: Have you grown any in the last couple of months?

JG: "I am still 6-6 and about 230."

JH: Since you are a such a big wide receiver, do you find that work on specific drills in the summer because of your size?

JG: "In my case God has giving me such good ability that my ability just comes to me. That doesn't mean that I don't work at it, especially with my agilities drills and things, I have to work hard at them."

JH: Have you taken any unofficial visits this summer?

JG: "No, I have just been staying at home and working out."

JH: What is the latest in recruiting?

JG: "I really haven't been worried about recruiting lately. I have been trying to distance myself from it and just work out."

JH: What schools are still in the picture with you at this point?

JG: "I don't know. I am not really thinking about it right now. This is my summer and I am just having fun and trying to have a good time."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

JG: "They are one of schools that I am considering. Like I said, I am not really thinking about it much. I just want to enjoy the rest of my summer.
