Did the Sooners make the cut for Denver, Colo. offensive lineman Butch Lewis?

Butch Lewis, OL, 6-5, 280, 5.2, DENVER (REGIS JESUIT HS), COLORADO:

JH: What have you been up to this summer?

BL: "I have been working out with the team. I do my own individual workouts. I think I am having a good summer, everything is good."

JH: Have you gone to any camps this summer?

BL: "I went to CU's (Colorado) Junior Day, but I didn't go to any camps this summer."

JH: How many scholarship offers do you have at this point?

BL: "I think I have around 20 to 22 scholarships offers."

JH: Have you narrowed your decision down to a top five or a top three?

BL: "I don't have a top five, but a top seven or eight. Right now it is USC, Cal, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma, Georgia and Texas."

JH: Is the group you gave me pretty consistent or does it change some every couple of weeks?

BL: "My list changes every once in a while, but for the most part it is consistent. Most of the schools I mentioned are on my list every time, except for Texas."

JH: Did you grow up rooting for a favorite team?

BL: "Not really, no."

JH: It doesn't seem you like you mind leaving the state?

BL: "No, I don't mind at all."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

BL: "I really don't know. I was thinking about taking an unofficial there this summer, but I don't know if I can do that or not. Oklahoma is definitely one of the schools that is under consideration by me and my family."
