RECRUITING: Missouri receiver visits Norman

Kirkwood, Mo. WR Jeremy Maclin talks about his trip to Norman and where the Sooners stand on his list.

Jeremy Maclin, WR, 6-0, 175, 4.5, KIRKWOOD, MISSOURI:

JH: How did your visit go to OU this weekend?

JM: "It was good, it was real good."

JH: What did you like and dislike about it?

JM: "There is nothing to dislike about it. They just have so many great facilities there — they are unbelievable. They have everything somebody could imagine. I got a chance to meet Coach (Chuck) Long, Coach (Kevin) Wilson and Coach (Darrell) Wyatt, and I got to meet Academic Counselor Teresa Turner."

JH: How do you feel about how you can fit into Oklahoma's offense?

JM: "I feel good about that because they say I can play the same position as Mark Clayton. That is where I feel I can best fit in at."

JH: Now that you have seen OU close up, how would you say recruiting is shaping up for you?

JM: "I would say that Oklahoma is one of my top teams on my list."

JH: Now that you have visited OU ,do the Sooners have a better chance to sign you?

JM: "Oh yeah, definitely."

JH: Who are your top teams right now?

JM: "I would say Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Colorado, Michigan State, Illinois and Missouri are my top teams."

JH: Did you set an official visit with OU?

JM: "Yeah, I am supposed to go down there and visit during the TCU game."
