The next couple of days will be big for the Sooners as two of their top wide receiver prospects are set to visit Norman with their families.
Irving, Texas WR Adron Tennell (6'3, 190, 4.5) and his family plan on being in Norman on Thursday, and Arlington, Texas WR Josh Marshall (6-4, 200, 4.6) will bring his family to Norman on Friday.
Tennell is very high on the Sooners' board, and in many ways OU feels he is the best receiver in Texas. OU has a very good chance to sign both players, and there is a chance to hear some good news soon.
OU recently brought in Jeremy Maclin of Kirkwood, Mo. and had a great visit. This is another player that may be close to committing to the Sooners.
If things go well this weekend, then OU could make a huge dent in their wide receiver recruiting.
PS -- Redshirt freshman receiver Fred Strong was not able to rally on his academics and will not be eligible this year. He is still enrolled at OU and will go to school in hopes he can regain he eligibility to play in the spring.
Recruiting Note: Pair of receivers set to visit
