Recruiting: Sooners get next shot at Waco CB

Waco, Texas CB Perrish Cox talks about his hist top three and recent visit to Nebraska.

Perrish Cox, CB, 6-0, 170, 4.45, WACO (UNIVERSITY HS), TEXAS:

JH: How is your season going right now?

PC: "We are not doing well. We are 0-3 right now. I really don't know what is happening to us. We have some young players, but that isn't our total problem."

JH: How have you been playing?

PC: "I am playing real good. I am playing cornerback, wide receiver and returner. At cornerback, I have four interceptions so far this season. At wide receiver, I have three touchdown catches and I took a kick (85 yards) back for a touchdown. I have about 500 yards in returns so far this season."

JH: Do you enjoy this time of year when college coaches can call you?

PC: "I enjoy talking to college coaches. That is a lot of fun for me. They just call to visit and I enjoy hearing what they have to say."

JH: Have you set up all you visits?

PC: "I just came back from Nebraska. That visit was OK. I had a good time with the coaches and players. It shocked me how the players knew my name when I walked into the stadium. I go to Oklahoma next week and I have set up Oklahoma State on January 20th."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

PC: "Oklahoma is one of my top three schools along with LSU and Oklahoma State. Oklahoma is a good team and they have cool coaches, at least with the ones I talk to. I talk to Coach Wyatt all the time and he is very cool. They talk to me about playing cornerback and receiver. The only thing that I don't know about when it comes to Oklahoma is about their academics, and I will find that out when I get there."

JH: Do you have a favorite at this time?[/b]

PC: "No, I don't really have a favorite."
