Recruiting: OU still in the mix for five-star LB?

Colton, Calif. five-star linebacker Allen Bradford update.

Allen Bradford, LB, 6-0, 222, 4.5, COLTON, CALIFORNIA:

JH: How is your season going?

AB: "We are 2-1 right now. I have eight touchdowns this year, six rushing and two receiving. I have 384 yards rushing right now. On defense, I have 35 tackles and three sacks."

JH: What position are you playing?

AB: "I am playing strongside linebacker."

JH: At what position are most colleges recruiting you?

AB: "I don't know, because I play safety as well on defense. Most colleges tell me they want me on defense. They want me either at outside linebacker, rover or safety. I don't care where I play as long as it is on the defensive side of the ball."

JH: What do you think about the recruiting process and the fact that college coaches are calling you again?

AB: "It gets old. It is old already."

JH: Are you talking most of the calls that come through to you?

AB: "They usually call on the weekends. If is a school that I like I take the phone call. If I don't like them, I don't."

JH: What schools are you considering at this point?

AB: "At this point I like UCLA, Oregon, Oklahoma, Washington and Nebraska."

JH: Do you have a favorite at this time?

AB: "No."

JH: Have you set any visits?

AB: "I have been to Nebraska and Oregon so far. I haven't set up any others yet."

JH: What did you think of your visit to Nebraska and Oregon?

AB: "Nebraska was cool and I really enjoyed my visit there. I went there when they played Maine. Oregon was cool too. I went there when they played USC."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

AB: "I really don't know because I haven't been to their campus. They are a great team with a great program, but the truth is I am thinking about staying on the West Coast. I am not sure if I am going to visit Oklahoma or not."

JH: If you elect to stay on the West Coast what schools would you consider?

AB: "I would say UCLA, USC, Oregon or Cal."
