Mossis Madu, RB, 6'0 ½, 190, 4.48, NORMAN, OKLAHOMA:
Mossis Madu is putting together the type of senior year that is drawing notice from some of the top collegiate teams in the country.
Madu is one of those running backs that you can't help but like after you watch him play. He runs with power, can make you miss, and runs with intelligence.
"I just try to be an all-around running back," said Madu. "I try to juke people when I can, but I can lower my shoulder and get extra yards. I am an all-around runner, or at least that is what I try to be."
Madu broke into the starting line-up at Norman as a sophomore where he rushed for about 500 yards. This season Madu has scored eight touchdowns and he has rushed for 371 yards in four games.
"I think the season is going pretty well for us," said Madu. "We are 4-0 as a team and playing some good football. I am getting attention from college coaches and I am just going to continue to run hard and see what happens. We play Edmond Santa Fe this weekend. They are undefeated just like we are, so we will see what happens."
Madu can bench 225 pounds, squats 590 and has posted a 30-inch vertical jump. Madu went to the OSU and Kansas summer camps and performed well.
What is interesting about Madu is that he is still looking for his first offer, but he has a number of colleges talking to him.
"The schools that are talking to me the most are OU and SMU," said Madu. "I am interested in UCLA, Virginia Tech, OU and the Texas schools. I have received letters from UCLA and Virginia Tech."
Mossis has qualified and he will be at the OU/KSU game this Saturday.
