Recruiting: Ardmore TE/WR has OU in top 4

Ardmore TE/WR Jermaine Gresham talks about his top four and what he's looking for in a college.

Jermaine Gresham, WR, 6-6, 226, 4.7, ARDMORE, OKLAHOMA:

JH: How is your season going?

JG: "It is going real well. We have come together as a team. Our team is real strong right now. We are 5-0 and ranked No. 1 in the state."

JH: On The Sports Blitz on Channel 9, Ardmore was ranked the No. 1 team in the state among all classes. What do you think about that?

JG: "To me that is a great honor, but it just makes us work harder. We want to achieve everything that we can achieve this year."

JH: What are your stats at this point?

JG: "All that I know is that I have 12 touchdowns at wide receiver."

JH: What kind of defenses are teams throwing your way?

JG: "A lot of teams try to disguise their defense and try to throw a lot of things at me. I get moved around a lot to try to keep the defense guessing. That works to a certain extent, but I am always doubled-teamed in some way."

JH: It looks like you really know how to use your size?

JG: "I have to because everybody is fast. I am bigger, so I need to use that the best way that I can."

JH: How many official offers do you have at this point?

JG: "I have never sat down and counted how many offers that I have received. I would say just about everybody in the country has offered me."

JH: Have you set any visits or gone to any games at this point?

JG: "No, I have been able to get up to any games because I am real busy. We have been trying to, and I hope to get up to some games at Oklahoma, Miami, LSU and USC. Those are the four schools that I am trying to set up visits to."

JH: What are some of the things that you will be looking for in recruiting? What is important to you in recruiting?

JG: "I want to sign with a school that feels like home to me. I can't really explain it, but as soon as I feel it I will just know."

JH: Do you have a leader?

JG: "No, I don't have a leader."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

JG: "They are up there. I wouldn't mind going there and making some things happen. I like them. Wherever I go I want to make an impact."

JH: Can anybody stop Ardmore this year and keep you from winning state?

JG: "Yes, that would be ourselves. We have to take care of our business. And if we do, we have a great chance."
