Recruiting: Texas CB impressed with OU

Waco, Texas CB Perrish Cox talks about his visit to Norman.

Perrish Cox, CB, 6-0, 170, 4.45, WACO, TEXAS:

JH: How did you like your visit OU this past weekend?

PC: "It was fun. I liked the game and the coaches. Then I had a chance to meet the players, and that is when I really had fun."

JH: So you enjoyed meeting the players the most?

PC: "Meeting the players was great. A few of the players I played against in the past year, and I used to play with Marcus Walker at Waco High."

JH: Who was your host and what did he tell you about OU?

PC: "Marcus was my host and he showed me a good time. He told me that OU would be a great place for me to go to."

JH: How is recruiting going for you?

PC: "It is getting closer and closer for me to make a decision. I still have three visits left. I have one set to Oklahoma State January 20 and I am going to LSU, but I haven't set up that visit. I don't know where my fourth visit is going to be."

JH: What are your thoughts on OU at this time?

PC: "OU is still one of my top three schools, but I am still open. I am going to stay open until I can take all my visits."

JH: When you were at OU did you watch the defense and how the corners played?

PC: "I know they have two seniors up there. I think I can go up there and start, but I am thinking about redshirting my first year. I would just have to see what is best for the team and me."
