Recruiting: "They are still Oklahoma"

Houston, Texas cornerback Terrance Anderson update.

Terrance Anderson, CB, HOUSTON (ALDINE HS), TEXAS:

JH: How is your season going?

TA: "Right now I am playing both quarterback and running back. I am probably playing more running back than quarterback. I have thrown seven touchdowns and two interceptions, and I also have four running touchdowns."

JH: How is your team doing?

TA: "Right now we are struggling badly. We are 2-5 and we have to win out to make the playoffs. We have been able to score, but we have a new defensive coordinator and he has put in a new system, and it has been tough for us to pick it up. So in every game we are just in shootouts getting after it."

JH: Have you taken any unofficial visits or gone to any college games?

TA: "Unofficially I have been to Texas A&M, but that is about it. I haven't been able to make it out for any games. I want to make it to some games, but our football schedule just won't allow me. We play on Friday's and Saturday's and I just haven't been able to get away."

JH: What is the latest in recruiting?

TA: "Everything has been the same. Nothing has really changed. I still like Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Nebraska. All of those schools have offered me.

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

TA: "Oklahoma is one of the most successful programs in the country and they are big time. Even though they are struggling, they are still Oklahoma. You get an offer from Oklahoma and then they are automatically going to be in your top five. I am looking forward to taking a hard look at Oklahoma."

JH: Do you have a leader at this point?

TA: "I would have to say that Oklahoma State is a leader at this point. That is the only school where I have been around the coaching staff, outside of Texas A&M. So that is why I am high on them. I know they are not doing well, but I like their coaching staff and think they are going to get better."
