Recruiting: Atlanta safety visiting Norman?

Current Sooner Duke Robinson helping recruit former high school teammate Reshad Jones.

Reshad Jones, S, 6-2, 180, ATLANTA (BOOKER T WASHINGTON HS), GEORGIA:

JH: How is your season going?

RS: "I am doing real well and the team is doing real well. We are 8-2 and I lead the team in touchdowns and tackles on defense. We have finished our regular season games and we are getting ready for the playoffs. At running back I have rushed for around 600 yards as a slot, tight end type guy. I have 13 touchdowns on the season. On defense I am playing free safety and I have 65 tackles with one interception and one fumble recovery."

JH: Do you still feel you are a safety in college?

RS: "Oh yeah, I am going to play safety in college. I have been producing on both sides just to help the team this year."

JH: Have you taken any official visits?

RS: "No, I haven't taken any official visit yet."

JH: Have you been to any college game unofficially?

RS: "I went to the Georgia/South Carolina game. That is the only game that I have been able to go to."

JH: Have you set any official visits?

RS: "I have set a visit to Miami on December 16th. I am not sure what other schools I am going to visit. I am still considering Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Michigan and Mississippi State."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

RS: "You know, one of my fellow teammates (Duke Robinson) is at Oklahoma and he says that he likes it. So I want to go up there and check them out. I will plan on visiting Oklahoma to see what they are about."

JH: Do you have a leader at this time?

RS: "No, not really. I am pretty wide open."
