Dominique Franks, CB, 6-1, 190, 4.4, TULSA UNION:
JH: What did you think of your visit to OU?
DF: "It was more than I expected. I had a lot of fun. The way the players took me in was so great because they treated me like I was already one of their players. I kind of figured they would, but they took me in more than I expected."
JH: In what way was it more than you expected?
DF: "I ate breakfast with the team before the game. Then we ate dinner with all the recruits and then went to the men's basketball game."
JH: What impressed you about the football program?
DF: "Everything about the football program impressed me a lot. The main thing that we need to focus on next year is when we get up we need to learn how to stay up. We have the ability to get up on people and then put them away, and that is what we need to do next year at OU."
JH: Did you pay attention to how the corners and the secondary played against Texas A&M?
DF: "I watched a lot. They ran a lot of four corners in with E. Bassey, Marcus Walker coming in. They did real well in the game and they should congratulate the defensive line, because they didn't give Reggie McNeal a lot of time to throw the ball."
JH: Now that you have visited the Sooners are you even more pumped about Oklahoma?
DF: "I am a lot more pumped to be a Sooner. I am just ready to finish out our great season and get a state championship ring. Then I want to do the same thing in basketball and then I will get ready for OU."
JH: You guys played pretty well this weekend didn't you?
DF: "We played Owasso and won 48-6. I did well, but they didn't throw any passes to my side. I gave our team great field position with some great punt returns in the game. I played a little running back, but I didn't get many opportunities to run or catch the ball. We play Westmoore this weekend in Tulsa."
Recruiting: Visit better than Franks expected
