Recruiting: Norman RB setting up more visits

Norman, Okla. running back Mossis Madu talks about his experience at OU-A&M and recruiting.

Mossis Madu, RB, 6-0, 190, 4.5, NORMAN, OKLAHOMA:

JH: I know you are very disappointed to lose in the first round?

MM: "It was hard to go out like that, but those things happen. I wish I could have helped the team more. I had 179 yards, but I needed to come up with more. I also scored both touchdowns."

JH: How many yards did you end up rushing for on the season?

MM: "I finished with 1,500 yards and 27 touchdowns."

JH: Did you visit UCLA this past weekend?

MM: "I was supposed to go to UCLA, but they didn't follow through like they were supposed to. I am going to try to reschedule."

JH: So did you take an unofficial to the OU game?

MM: "Yeah, I went to the Oklahoma game. I thought it was going to be a blowout in the first half and then Texas A&M started coming back. I thought, man, OU has to hold on and they did."

JH: Did you watch the running backs?

MM: "I pay attention to the running back. I could see myself fitting in there and getting some playing time next year."

JH: Are you the type of running back that can fit into any style of offense, or do you feel you are better suited for one particular offense?

MM: "I think I could do it all. I think I could be a shotgun back or an I-formation back and be involved in the passing game."

JH: What do you think about Oklahoma at this time?

MM: "My thoughts are very good towards them. They are in my hometown and everybody wants me to go there. I just want to keep my options right now, but if I went to OU everybody could come and watch me play."

JH: Oklahoma will only have three running backs on scholarship in the spring and all three will be juniors, so what do you think about their depth situation?

MM: "That sounds real good to me. That means that there would be a good shot that I could come back and play."

JH: So are you still just trying to decide between OU and UCLA?

MM: "I am going to visit OU, UCLA, TCU, Central Florida and Michigan State.
