Recruiting: Sooners still lead for Juco OL?

Butler CC offensive lineman Sherrone Moore compares his Arizona State and Oklahoma visits.

Sherrone Moore, 6-5, 295, BUTLER COMMUNITY COLLEGE, KANSAS:

JH: What did you think of your visit to Arizona State?

SM: "It was pretty good. I liked it a lot."

JH: What did you like about it the most?

SM: "I really like the education system that they have set. I thought the people there were great. It certainly was a lot different out there than from where I live here in Kansas.

JH: Have you just taken two visits thus far to Oklahoma and Arizona State?

SM: "Yes, that is true."

JH: How would you compare Oklahoma and Arizona State based on your visits to both schools?

SM: "I really liked both of my visits. The big difference is that at Oklahoma I had a chance to go to a game and that was an overwhelming experience for me. There were 84,000 fans in the stands and they were really cheering for their team. The people were great at both schools. I would say that I like the weather better at Arizona. It is cold quite a bit here in Kansas, and when I got off the plane it was 75 degrees in Arizona. There is a lot to do in Arizona with more streets and more places to go. So, I liked both visits pretty well."

JH: Do you have a leader among the two?

SM: "They are kind of even right now, but I will give a slight edge to Oklahoma. Arizona is right behind them."

JH: Will you take a visit this weekend?

SM: "No, I am going home for Thanksgiving. I don't have any more visits set."

JH: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?

SM: "Turkey, my mom's stuffing and macaroni pie."
