Recruiting: Juco OL checks out Norman

Lackawanna Juco offensive lineman Clarence Bailey talks about his visit to Norman.

Clarence Bailey, OL, 6-6, 305, LACKAWANNA, JC, PENNSYLVANIA:

JH: How did you like your visit to Oklahoma this weekend?

CB: "I had a great time."

JH: What was it that you liked about the visit?

CB: "It was a great game atmosphere yesterday. That was fantastic and just showed how people get into the game and how important the game was to them."

JH: I am sure you watch the offensive line and tried to find out all you could about their situation. What are your thoughts?

CB: "They are losing five seniors along the offensive line, so there is an opportunity for me to go in there and help the team."

JH: Did you see how they block in the offensive line where you could excel as well?

CB: "The basic offense that they run is the same that I ran at the junior college I am at now."

JH: Who were your host this weekend?

CB: "I hung out with Duke (Robinson) and Brandon (Braxton), and I had a great time with them. I enjoyed talking to the OU coaches. They are very much into their job and they want to win, and that is what I want to do basically."

JH: Now that you have visited OU, what would you say about recruiting?

CB: "Oklahoma is still one of the schools that is high on my list, just like I said before."

JH: You have also visited Ole Miss, so can you compare the two programs?

CB: "Oklahoma is a powerhouse team and Ole Miss is a team that is up and coming. I can't say that I like one school over the other right now."

JH: Do you still have visits to take?

CB: "I am going to South Carolina next weekend and either Florida State or Miami the following week."

JH: Would you say that OU has enhanced the Sooners chances to sign you?

CB: "Yes, they did. Without question."
