Recruiting: Juco OL says decision coming soon

Lackawanna Junior College offensive lineman Clarence Bailey breaks down his three favorites.

Clarence Bailey, OL, 6-6, 305, LACKAWANNA JC, PA:

JH: You are a graduate at semester, so aren't you close to making a decision?

CB: "Yes, I am going to make my decision next week because I graduate at semester and I will be enrolling at that college next semester."

JH: So who are the contenders going into the final week?

CB: "I have narrowed my decision down to South Carolina, Ole Miss and Oklahoma."

JH: What can you say about the three schools?

CB: "I feel they are three schools where I can come in and help them right away."

JH: What are your thoughts on South Carolina?

CB: "I think South Carolina is a good team. They changed around their program in just one season qualifying for a bowl game. They are four to five offensive linemen short in the spring, so I would have a good opportunity there."

JH: What are your thoughts on Ole Miss?

CB: "At Ole Miss, with my situation coming out at semester, I could go in there and basically start. Things have opened up pretty good for me."

JH: What do you think about Oklahoma?

CB: "Oklahoma has a great program with tremendous tradition. They struggled a little bit for them this year, but they just need some experience offensive linemen like me to come into that program to stabilize it. I think my situation is as good at Oklahoma as the other two schools are far, as earning early playing time."

JH: So you are saying that you don't have a leader going into your final week of recruiting?

CB: "No, not really. This is going to be a very tough decision for me."
