LUCKY DeLAY, ATH, 6Õ4, 240, 4.76, IRVING MacARTHUR, TEXAS:
Lucky is a big manÕs athlete in that he can play tight end, defensive end or in the offensive line. In fact, many college recruiters like Lucky better as an offensive lineman at the next level.
Lucky is a 3-year starter, who as a sophomore worked at defensive end, tight end and offensive tackle, and this season will work at defensive end and offensive tackle. DeLay hopes to play defensive end at the next level.
Last season DeLay finished with 73 tackles and earned All-City honors. DeLay can bench 325 pounds, squats 485 and has a 29-inch vertical jump.
DeLay says he will go the Texas summer camp and he hopes to also go to West Virginia and Texas Tech.
ÒI really like Texas and Texas Tech as my two favorite schools,Ó said DeLay. ÒHowever, I am also looking at Colorado, West Virginia and Oklahoma."
I really like Oklahoma and I am looking forward to speaking with them. I also want to talk to SMU and Arkansas. However, I would like to stay in Texas if I can.Ó
RECRUITING: Sooners hope to get Lucky
