Malcolm Williams, CB, 5'10, 183, 4.37 SOUTH GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS:
JH: How did your visit to OU go this weekend?
MW: "It went great. I loved it."
JH: What did you love about it?
MW: "I enjoyed meeting the players, and going to watch them practice was a lot of fun. Eric Bassey was my host and we spent a lot of time at his house. A bunch of people came over and we played X-Box 360 NFL football most of the night. I was the Inddianapolis Colts because they are the easiest team to play. I got beat by Eric, but that game was so fun to play. It was the first time that I have seen an X-Box 360 in person."
JH: What did you learn about OU that you didn't know before?
MW: "I really can't answer that because there was nothing that surprised me. I didn't see any Indians (laughing) I guess. People told me that there would be a bunch of Indians there and I didn't see any. I know I loved it there and the people I did meet on and off the football team were great. Everybody was nice and seemed to care about each other. I know I ate so much down there that I probably gained weight."
JH: Since you watched practice and talked some football with secondary coach Bobby Jack Wright and defensive coordinator Brent Venables, how do you feel your skills will fit into the OU secondary?
MW: "I think my skills match-up well with any player they have at my position. I was watching the corners, and I have as good as talent as any body they currently have on their team. I think that way about any team that I am considering, but I know that Oklahoma needs cornerbacks. I think I have the talent to play there right away."
JH: So you are a cornerback at the next level?
MW: "Everybody is recruiting me as a cornerback. I played free safety in high school, but I am a cornerback I college."
JH: You have been committed to Texas A&M for a long time, so are you still committed to the Aggies?
MW: "I am still committed to Texas A&M."
JH: What do you think of recruiting now that you have visited OU?
MW: "I am still going to take my visit to Texas A&M on January 19, but I am probably going to move it up. I want to take it earlier. I have been committed to Texas A&M so long (April) that I just decided to take a visit to OU to check out another school. I wanted something to compare Texas A&M to. The visit went so well at Oklahoma that I now feel differently about my situation for the first time since I committed to A&M."
JH: How do you feel differently?
MW: "Well, I am now also thinking about another school."
JH: How would you compare the two schools?
MW: "They are the same in their facilities and things. Both schools have great indoor facilities. They are different in a lot of ways. Both schools have their own atmosphere and they are different. Both schools have different types of personalities, so anybody that is considering the two schools has that to consider."
JH: Can you honestly say that you are at least thinking about committing to OU in the future?
MW: Yes, I can certainly say that."
