Jeremy Gibbs, DT, 6-4, 285, NEO JC, OK:
JH: How did your visit to Iowa State go this weekend?
JG: "It went OK."
JH: What did you like or dislike about it?
JG: "It liked it pretty well. They have a pretty good atmosphere up there and they are supported pretty well. It is a pretty cool place."
H: Did you know anything about Iowa State going into the visit?
JG: "All I knew going in to the visit was that they just missed the Big 12 Championship game by a game the last two years. Once I was there, I learned that they have built a pretty good program and they have an excellent winning percentage over the last couple years."
JH: Almost every time I have been up to Ames it has been very cold, so how could was it for you this weekend?
JG: "Yeah, it is cold up there. I know it is cold here right now, but it is a different kind of cold up there. It was snowing up there and about nine to 10 degrees."
JH: Did you look into what their situation is at defensive tackle?
JG: "Going up there and looking over my position I learned that I could up there and play right away. In talking to the coaches, I got the feeling that if I signed there I would have a certain starting spot waiting for me."
JH: What are your thoughts on recruiting at this time?
JG: "I am still just going to take my final two trips to Colorado and Oklahoma State in January, and then sit back and make the best decision for me. I am still a soft commitment to OU."
JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?
JG: "Oklahoma is at the top of my list and right now. I would say that I like Oklahoma and Oregon. I am really going to be watching and enjoying the Holiday Bowl coming up."
