Recruiting: Morgan still considering four

Dallas, Texas four-star linebacker Mike Morgan talks recruiting and about his interest in Oklahoma.

Mike Morgan, LB, 6-3, 185, DALLAS (SKYLINE HS), TEXAS:

JH: Do you still have visits left?

MM: "I am going to Florida State this weekend."

JH: Isn't Florida State one of the main schools you are still considering?

MM: "Yes sir. They are one of the schools I am serious considering."

JH: What are your thoughts on recruiting at this point?

MM: "It is getting a little tiring, but it is enjoyable at the same time. All the phone calls are a little bothersome, and with all the media coming around that can get to you a little bit. Then on top of that, all the coaches that call and then all my friends ask me about recruiting all the time. I am taping an interviewing with Fox 4 right now and they are talking to me about recruiting. It has been exciting, but tiring at the same time."

JH: What schools are you still considering?

MM: "I still have my same list of four. You have Oklahoma, A&M, Florida State and USC. Florida State is the only school that I have not visited."

JH: Do you have a leader or a top two?

MM: "I don't have a leader. They are all even right now. I will find out when I finish this trip. I am going to come home and weigh out all the positives and negatives and pick the best school for me."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

MM: "I am still saying the same thing about Oklahoma that I have been saying. Actually, I am saying the same things about all the schools. It is all the same at this point."

JH: Do you still talk to Oklahoma all the time?

MM: "Yes, I still hear from Oklahoma once a week. I talk to Coach (Brent) Venables and he says that they can still use me."
