OU stays perfect in Big 12 with win over A&M

Oklahoma continued their Big 12 domination Saturday with an 81-72 road win over second place Texas A&M to stay unbeaten and in sole possession of first place in conference play.

The Sooners, who shot an incredible 59.6 percent (31-52) from the field, got 18 points and 14 rebounds from freshman center Courtney Paris while Britney Brown and Leah Rush each added 16. Brown also dished eight assists.

The double-double by Paris was her 18th of the season, which leads the NCAAs.

With the win, the 14th-ranked Sooners improve to 17-4 overall and 7-0 in Big 12 play. A&M falls to 16-5 overall and 4-3 in conference action.

The loss also ended the Aggies' perfect 11-0 season at Reed Arena.
