Norman, Okla. — The 11th-ranked OU women's basketball team swept the Bedlam series battle with Oklahoma State beating the Cowgirls in front of 7,042 fans, 70-54, Tuesday night at the Lloyd Noble Center.

The win was the 16th-straight in the series for OU against the Cowgirls.

The Sooners jumped out to a 21-4 lead and coasted from there, but in all it was a lackluster performance.

Oklahoma won the reboudning battle by one, 38-37.

The Sooners remain undefeated in conference play at 8-0 and 18-4 overall, while the Cowgirls are now 0-9 in conference and 6-14 overall.

OU will travel to Missouri for a key Big 12 road game Saturday.
