OU-OSU Pregame Notes

The Sooners (19-6) and Cowboys (15-13) will tip-off at 8 p.m. Monday night in Norman.

The Setting
Oklahoma State (15-13, 5-9) at Oklahoma (19-6, 10-4) -- 8 p.m. (CST) -- The Lloyd Noble Center (12,000)

Television/Radio/Internet
The game will be televised by ESPN. Ron Franklin (play-by-play), Fran Fraschilla (analyst) and Holly Rowe (sideline) will call the action. The Rankings
Oklahoma is currently ranked 19th by the Associated Press, 17th in the Coaches Poll and 12th in the RPI. Oklahoma State is 90th in the RPI.

The Series
The Sooners lead the all-time series 120-87 overall and 73-26 in Norman. OU head coach Kelvin Sampson is 11-14 against the Cowboys overall and 8-3 at the Lloyd Noble Center.

Senior Night
Sooner seniors Kevin Bookout, Taj Gray and Terrell Everett will be honored in a ceremony before Monday night's game and then address the crowd following the game. The pregame ceremony is scheduld to start at 7:45 p.m.

In their two years together, the group has helped Oklahoma to a 43-14 record and were starters on last the school's first regular season Big 12 Conference Championship team last season.

Bookout, who has spent four years in Norman, will leave OU much higher up on the all-time charts than his fellow seniors.

The Stroud, Okla. native currently ranks 30th all-time in points (1,062), second all-time in field goal percentage (.575) and 14th all-time in rebounds (659).

The Matchup
Oklahoma State comes into Monday's night's matchup having won two of their last three games, including wins over No. 9 Texas (81-60) and Texas Tech (74-63) in Stillwater.

However, the Cowboys are just 2-5 on the road in Big 12 play and 2-3 since the departure of Eddie Sutton. In Sutton's last game on February 8 in Stillwater, Oklahoma ended a five-game losing streak in Gallagher-Iba Arena with a 73-65 win.

Terrell Everett scored 23 points, Kevin Bookout added 13 and Michael Neal and Taylor Griffin sparked OU off the bench with 12 and 10 points respectively. OU's defense was also tough in the first half, holding the Cowboys to just 17 points and four made field goals.

The Cowboys are fifth in the league in scoring (70.6) and sixth in scoring defense (65.5), while the Sooners are sixth in scoring offense (69.7) and fourth in scoring defense (62.3).

OSU leads the Big 12 in free throw percentage (.744) and field goal percentage (.483), while Oklahoma checks in at first in rebounding defense (27.2) and second in rebound margin (+10.3).
