Sooners draw Pepperdine in first round

The Oklahoma women's basketball team will take their 18-game winning streak into the NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed this weekend in Denver, Colo.

The Sooners (29-4), who are making their seventh straight trip to the NCAAs, will play 15th-seeded Pepperdine (14-16) in a first round matchup on Saturday at the Pepsi Center.

Should Oklahoma advance to the second round, they would play the BYU-Iowa winner on Monday. Looming in the Sweet 16, which would be played in San Antonio, Texas, could be 3rd-seeded Stanford and then possibly top-seeded LSU in the Elite Eight.

Tip-off times for Oklahoma's Saturday opener is set for 12 p.m. CST. Monday's second round tip-off time has yet to be determined.
