Tony Crocker, G, 6-5, Patterson, N.C. (The Patterson School)

JH: What do you think about coach Jeff Capel, your new basketball coach?

TC: "I think he is good. He is sounds good and talks a good game. I am pretty excited to get out there and play for him. He said he likes to play up-tempo, and that sounds good right now."

JH: What did you think when you learned that Coach Sampson was leaving OU for Indiana!

TC: "I didn't understand why, but later I understood that he has to do what he has to do. I knew that OU was going to bring in somebody good. I know that coach Capel is not a big name right now in college basketball, but what he said to me sounds good and we can make him a big name in college basketball."

JH: In other words, you guys play so well that he becomes a big name coach?

TC: "That is what we are going to have to do."

JH: You were injured some this past season, so how is your health now?

TC: "I am feeling good now. I have been in the gym lately just working on my shot. I want my game in great shape when I get out in June."

JH: It sounds like you are looking forward to coming to Oklahoma?

TC: "Yeah, I am ready for this. I have been waiting for this for a long time."
