Recruiting: A&M RBs commitment solid?

Pflugerville, Texas running back Joseph Reese talks about his commitment to Texas A&M.

Joseph Reese, RB, 6-2, 190, 4.4, Pflugerville (Hendrickson HS), Texas:

JH: There is talk that you have committed to Texas A&M. Is that true?

JR: "Yes sir."

JH: Why Texas A&M?

JR: "I committed to Texas A&M because that was the best school for me. I have been to Texas A&M three times and they have been recruiting me the hardest. I can play there as a freshman and I like everything about Texas A&M. Nobody has been recruiting me as hard as Texas A&M, and my dad just thought it was in my best interest to take their offer and commit to them. My mom thought it was better to wait, but my dad felt that we should just go ahead and commit, so that is what we did."

JH: Are going to stop talking to other coaches?

JR: "I will always talk to anybody. I will continue to talk to any colleges that call. I don't see anything wrong with that."

JH: Will you only visit Texas A&M?

JR: "I am not sure about that. My dad still wants me to take my visits, but I don't know where I will be taking those visits. I do know that I will be visiting Texas A&M."

JH: You said that Texas A&M has been recruiting you the hardest. In what way?

JR: "I have been going to Texas A&M pretty regularly because they are just down the road. I have been going to their Nike Camp for the last couple of years. I got to know some of their players like Javorski Lane and others real well. I have been talking to Texas A&M on a regular basis. I call them after school and everything. They also e-mail me all the time. Actually, I have been receiving e-mails from a lot of schools, but more from Texas A&M."
