Recruiting: A&M commit to visit Oklahoma?

Texas A&M running back commit Joseph Reese talks about his recent conversation with Bob Stoops and when he might check out Norman.

JH: How did you do at the regional track meet?

JR: "I qualified for state in three events. I qualified in the 200M, 4X200 and the 4X400. I ran a 21.8 in the 200 meters, which was my slowest time ever."

JH: What is the latest in recruiting?

JR: "I am still committed to Texas A&M, but I am still talking to other schools. I just talked to Coach Jordan at Nebraska and we are building a great relationship. I talked to Coach Stoops from Oklahoma last week and he was a real nice guy. He is cool, calm and collective and just a nice guy to talk to."

JH: So now that you have talked to Coach Stoops, does that change your mind about considering Oklahoma?

JR: "Oklahoma has a great program and Coach Stoops is looking to do great things with their program. I am looking to make a trip up there and see their program up close. I have been up there for an AAU Basketball tournament, but I have never been up there to tour the campus or the facilities. I want to take an official visit to OU, but if that can't be worked out then I will take an unofficial. I think OU wants me to visit and I want to see their program."

JH: Are you considering Oklahoma and Nebraska now?

JR: "The coaches at Nebraska and Oklahoma tell me that they are going to keep recruiting me no matter if I am committed or not. I am honored that they feel I am good enough for them to keep recruiting me and I want to keep talking to them. So, we will see what happens."
