Bobby Maze, a 6-foot-2 guard prospect from Patterson Prep School in Patterson, N.C., officially began his visit to Norman Wednesday afternoon.
Maze, a teammate of Sooner signee Tony Crocker, will be in Norman through Thursday.
"If everything goes well on the visit I will probably commit to OU," Maze told OUInsider.com earlier this week. "Tell all the fans in Oklahoma that B-Maze is coming to Oklahoma on Wednesday and he is hoping to find a home. I think with the players OU already has on campus, and the players they have coming in, that we can dominate."
"I haven't seen anyone else in prep school with his quickness with the ball," Patterson coach Chris Chaney said. "He's improved so much since he got here. He's scoring when he should – and passing the ball when he should."
"He's got great work ethic," added Chaney. "He's always in the gym."
Maze told DeaconSports.com on April 19 that he had offers from Cincinnati, Kansas State and Seton Hall. At that time, he said that his final Four was Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Tennessee and Seton Hall, but the Sooners will get a shot at him this week.
