CEDRIC COFER, OL, 6'4, 305, 5.0, DeSOTO, TEXAS:
The college recruiters love Cofer because he brings his A-game to the field each and every time and certainly knows how to compete. Cofer will be a starter for the second consecutive year this year at DeSoto and is regarded as one of the top lineman in Texas.
"I still have some things to work on in my game, but I have become a pretty good pass blocker," said Cofer. "I am getting better as a run blocker and love to do it, but I am just working hard to get my technique down."
Cofer can bench 315 pounds and squats 455. Cedric has stayed around DeSoto the last two summers working out with his teammates and not participating in the summer camp schedule. This is another reason why he hasn't been talked about more in Texas or on the national scene, however Cofer is still waiting to receive his first offer.
"Missouri, SMU, Iowa, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma are the schools that I have been talking to. I would like to hear more from Oklahoma. I am really wide open right now as far as recruiting goes. I really don't have a favorite and I have to wait and see which school steps up with an offer."
