Arrelious Benn, WR, 6-2, 205, WASHINGTON D.C (DUNBAR HS):
JH: How does it feel to be ranked the No. 1 wide receiver in the country?
AB: "I really don't pay attention to it. I look it and and I know about it, but I really don't any attention to it. It really doesn't matter to me. I know what I can do."
JH: What are you doing this summer?
AB: "It is pretty busy. I am going to summer school, and that starts at the end of this month. We are working out and competing in 7-on-7 drills this summer. We are doing well so far. We are playing local teams and doing well. I am doing real well. So far nobody has been able to stop me yet."
JH: How many schools have offered you at this point?
AB: "I have been offered by 70 schools so far."
JH: Have you narrowed your list down to five or 10?
AB: "I would say Illinois, Maryland, Florida State, Notre Dame and USC are my top five. I don't have a favorite. I have seen Illinois, Notre Dame and Maryland so far, and I am getting ready to see USC. I do have a little interest in Oklahoma. I have to get down there and see the place. I am not sure how I am going to be able to do that, but I want to see Oklahoma."
JH: Do you deal with Oklahoma much?
AB: "I talked to Coach Sumlin quite a bit. He is a good guy."
JH: What is important in recruiting with you at this time?
AB "I am looking for a coaching staff that will be straight-forward with me. I want to play in an offense that throws the ball and has a good reputation for recruiting quarterbacks."
