Recruiting: Creer will be watching Peterson

Tatum, Texas running back Lennon Creer talks about his unofficial visit to Tennessee and where the Sooners currently stand on his list. Creer is rated as the 8th-best running back in the nation by

Lennon Creer, RB, 6-1, 190, TATUM, TEXAS:

JH: How did your unofficial visit to Tennessee go?

LC: "It went good. They have a great academic center and you can get a lot of support up there in that area. They also have a great family atmosphere among the players and coaches, and that is very evident when you talk to everybody. I also like their facilities and I love their stadium. They have a very big stadium."

JH: Does their offense fit your running style?

LC: "They run the kind of offense that I like. They run a pro set and the I-formation, and that is what I want to do. I don't want to go to an offense that runs the spread."

JH: Who have you visited unofficially at this point?

LC: "I have been to Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tennessee."

JH: Are those your top four teams?

LC: "No, Texas is not in my top four. My top four would be Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Miami."

JH: Who is your favorite at this time?

LC: "No, I can't say that at this time."

JH: What are your thoughts on OU?

LC: "I like them a lot. They have a lot of tradition up there. I am looking at them very closely. I will be watching Adrian Peterson very closely to see how he does and what he does. If he leaves early then I feel whoever goes in there next will have a great opportunity there."

JH: What do you think of OSU?

LC: "It was nice when I visited up there. They have great facilities that they are building for the future."

JH: Is that your last unofficial visit this summer?

LC: "Yes sir."

JH: When does training camp start?

LC: "It starts August 7. I am looking forward to getting started. I think we are going to have a very good team and we are favored to win our district again."
