Jai Lucas, PG, 5-10, BELLAIRE, TEXAS:
JH: There are all kinds of rumors out there so have you committed to a school. Is that true?
JL: "No, I haven't committed to anyone. I am still open to everything."
JH: The last time we talked you mentioned you weren't going to commit until you take your official visits. Is that still true?
JL: "Yes, it is. That is still very much the case."
JH: Are the same schools still involved?
JL: "Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Maryland and LSU."
JH: Do you have a favorite at this time?
JL: "No, I can't say that I have a favorite. I know about them, but I haven't made official visits to those schools. My official visit will tell me a lot more about each school than I know right now."
JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?
JL: "I like Oklahoma a lot. I talk to Coach (Jeff) Capel a lot and I enjoy talking to him. I had Oklahoma on my list when coach (Kelvin) Sampson was there before coach Capel became the head coach. I have always admired their program and their school. They have a great football program and a great school. Oklahoma has always been one of my favorite schools."
JH: So Oklahoma has a solid chance to sign you?
JL: "I am going to give OU a very serious look."
JH: Many feel because your brother played at OSU and your dad at Maryland, that there is no way you would sign with OU. Are you saying that is not true?
JL: "A lot of people had written me off in recruiting because everybody felt I was going to OSU. Well, I could go anywhere among the schools that I like. OSU is just one of the schools that I am looking at."
JH: When do you plan on taking visits?
JL: "Probably around October."
