VICTOR DeGRATE, LB, 6-4, 232, 4.53, DeSoto, Texas:
JH: How has your summer gone?
VG: My summer has gone well. I have my weight up to 235 pounds and I think I am a little faster.
JH: What schools are you currently considering and when do you plan on narrowing down your list?
VG: Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Missouri, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, USC, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, TCU and SMU.I really haven't narrowed my choices down from these schools just yet.
JH: Talk about your interest in Oklahoma?
VG: I like Oklahoma a lot. They are a great program and have always been a great program. I just have always liked Oklahoma. They have a great school as well and they just seem to have everything a football player could want. Plus, OU is close to my home. That is not a big factor, but that would be nice if I decide to go there.
JH: Is early playing time a factor for you?
VG: Playing my freshman year is not that big of an issue. That is totally up to me. If I don't then I will get redshirted and that is not a bad deal. I wouldn't mind going to a school with a pre-law program because that is what I am looking to get into.
JH: Do you have a problem leaving your home state to play college football?
VG: I want to leave Texas for sure. I have been offered by every one of those schools (listed above) and I will pick out my five visits from those schools.
