Terrance Toliver, WR, 6-4, 190, HEMPSTEAD, TEXAS:
JH: How did your visit go this weekend?
TT: "It was great. I liked the game and the fans were fantastic. I was just trying to take it all in and enjoy the atmosphere. It was so loud at the game. That was so much fun."
JH: I know the fans recognized who you were, so how did that make you feel?
TT: "I really didn't know because I was walking down Sooner Lane trying to get to the locker room, and some guy said that we need you. Man, that shocked me that somebody in Norman would know me. And then I signed a few autographs too. I feel good about my visit and I know they need receivers. Anytime they are putting a cornerback at receiver I know they need receivers. That is a good thing as far as I am concerned, and then knowing that I have fans already."
JH: What did you learn about OU that you didn't know before?
TT: "I know that it is a college town. Everybody supports the Sooners. The NFL is not in Norman and their NFL team is the Oklahoma Sooners. I had a lot of fun and the coaches and players made me feel like I was at home. Their facilities are the best I have ever seen. I had a meeting with coach Stoops and he showed me all his bowl rings. I have never seen anything like that. Then they showed me all their Heisman Trophies and that was something that was so impressive. Then they showed me Heisman Park, which was fantastic.
"Then they took me over to the indoor facility and that thing is incredible. They also showed me the Roy Williams weight room. I found out he put all the money up for the weight room. I also was so impressed with Teresa Turner, who is in charge of their academic program for football. She showed me around and answered all my questions in regards to the academic aspects of the program."
JH: What did you think about the academic program for athletes at OU?
TT: "They are really serious about the athletes getting an education. Mrs. Turner said that she strives to make sure every player graduates, and that is the most important thing to here. I know she want the players to win on the field, but she really cares about the players' academic situation. I truly believe that she and the rest of the academic staff at OU really care about each player getting a degree."
JH: What did you think about OU's offense and how you might fit in?
TT: "Yeah, it is a pro-style offense. Just like Coach (Kevin) Sumlin told me today, despite the fact they have that big workhorse in the backfield (Adrian Peterson) they still are going to throw the ball 30 times a game. I watched Malcolm Kelly have a big day. He plays basically the same position that I do, and that really impressed me."
JH: Are you as big as Malcolm?
TT: "Malcolm is actually shorter than me. He was my host, but the night he was supposed to take me out I didn't hang out because I was too tired. So I just went back to the hotel and went to sleep."
JH: Now that you have visited OU, how does recruiting shape up with you?
TT: "They are up there. I like them more now that I have visited. Right now I am taking my time to take my visits, and then I am going to make my decision. I think I am going to make my announcement at the Army All-American game. I haven't set any other visits up yet, but I know I am going to take them during the season."
JH: Who are you still looking at?
TT: "I am still looking at LSU, Miami, Florida, USC and, of course, Oklahoma. There are some other schools that I am talking too as well."
JH: How is your team doing so far this season? And how well did you do in the last game?
TT: "We are 2-0. We won (last week) 27-20. I played real well. I had five catches for 100-something yards, and I had a two-point conversation. After the first game, my coach said he was going to throw me the ball more and he did."
