JAY JACKSON, PG, 6'2, MONROE OUACHITA PARISH, LOUISIANA:
Jackson is a three-year starter who has emerged as one of the top 10 point guards in the country. Jackson specializes in the break and is outstanding at getting up and down the court.
Jackson can score, which evident by his 25.4 ppg average. He also averages seven rebounds and five assist per game. This summer Jackson's played all three guard positions for his AAU team that finished ninth in the country.
In recruiting, Jay likes Oklahoma, N.C. State, Minnesota, UAB, Georgia Tech, Tulane, Louisiana Tech and SMU.
"I am interested in Oklahoma, but I am not really sure about anything because they haven't made any offers yet," said Jackson. "I really don't have a favorite at this point, but I have been offered by UAB, Georgia Tech, Louisiana Tech, SMU and Ole Miss."
Jackson has qualified.
